Σκοποί Λειτουργείας της Ομοσπονδίας
- Η μελέτη και η θετική αντιμετώπιση των θεμάτων των Σωματείων-μελών της Ομοσπονδίας.
- Η καθοδήγηση και υποβοήθησή τους για την επιδίωξη και εφαρμογή προγραμμάτων με στόχους που θα αποβλέπουν στην εξυπηρέτηση της Παμποντιακής ΙΔΕΑΣ.
- Ο συντονισμός των προγραμμάτων για τις διάφορες πολιτιστικές και άλλες εκδηλώσεις των μελών Σωματείων.
- Η επικοινωνία και αγαστή συνεργασία των Σωματείων μελών της Ομοσπονδίας με τα απανταχού Ποντιακά Σωματεία και τις Ελληνικές οργανώσεις της διασποράς.
- Η δημιουργία ενός φορέα του οποίου έργο θα είναι η συγκέντρωση στοιχείων γύρω από την ιστορία, τα ήθη και έθιμα των Ποντίων. Η μελέτη αυτών των στοιχείων και η δημοσίευσή των με σχετικά άρθρα σε εφημερίδες και περιοδικά, ραδιοφωνικές και τηλεοπτικές εκπομπές και εκδόσεις βιβλίων.
- Η ανιστόρηση Ποντιακών μνημείων σε όλες τις πόλεις των Η.Π.Α. και του Καναδά, στις οποίες υπάρχουν ή θα δημιουργηθούν Ποντιακά Σωματεία μέλη της Ομοσπονδίας.
- Η προσπάθεια για την δημιουργία μιας παγκόσμιας Ποντιακής Συνομοσπονδίας και ένωσης αποδήμου Ποντιακού Ελληνισμού.
- Η σύσταση Ποντιακών Σωματείων σε όσες πόλεις των Η.Π.Α. και του Καναδά που υπάρχει ποντιακό στοιχείο, αλλά δεν έχει σωματειακά οργανωθεί.
- Η ανασύσταση ποντιακών Σωματείων των Η.Π.Α. και του Καναδά που βρίσκονται σε αδράνεια.
Mission of the Pan Pontian Federation
(as outlined in our Constitution)
- The study and the positive confrontation of the issues that our member societies face.
- The guidance and assistance of the members to apply plans with goals aimed at the Panpontian idea.
- The coordination of cultural and other programs of the member societies.
- The communication and cooperation of our Federation member societies with Pontian Societies and Hellenic
organizations of the diaspora throughout the world.
- The establishment of an agent that will collect information regarding the history,
culture and customs of the Pontian Hellenes. The study of this information and its publication will be made
through newspapers and periodicals, radio and television programming and the publications of books.
- The dedication of monuments commemorating Pontian Hellenic history in all the cities of the USA and Canada
that have or will have in the future associations that will be members of the Federation.
- The attempt to create a world Pontian confederation joining the Pontian Hellenes of the diaspora.
- The formation of Pontian societies in US and Canadian cities that have a Pontian Hellenic population but do
not have a organized society representing them.
- The reformation of Pontian societies in the USA and Canada that are in a state of inertia.
